In addition to his leadership at VK Medical Group, Victor is an entrepreneur and investor with a passion for creating and managing successful ventures across multiple industries. He is also the co-founder of First Initiative, a charity foundation dedicated to supporting underserved communities and fostering meaningful change through healthcare, education, and local outreach programs.

Karan Sutaria is the Co-Founder and President of VK Medical Group, the parent company of North Florida Medical Center (NFMC) and several other healthcare ventures. With a lifelong passion for healthcare and a dedication to patient care, Karan has been instrumental in shaping VK Medical Group into a trusted and innovative provider in Jacksonville.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Karan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2007 and completed his medical education at the American University of Antigua in 2011. In 2014, he partnered with his brother-in-law, Victor Patel, to launch VK Medical Group, combining their shared vision of delivering exceptional care to their community.
In addition to his leadership at VK Medical Group, Karan is a devoted husband and proud father. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new opportunities to grow the business, and staying connected to his community.
